1. UE POWER is pleased to announce the formation of UE Power Systems for its power supply business. The new branding reflects the company’s capability and confidence to supply multi-megawatts (MW) of power system with high voltage delivery. With this, all power equipment exceed 1 MW capacity will carry the company’s new brand name.

December 2004

2. The UE POWER branched out into Shanghai, China.

   With the chronic power shortage that has battled industries all over China in the last 2 years, UE POWER has decided to set up its first China operations in Shanghai . The operation was officially launched by the United Engineers Limited Group CEO and MD, Mr Jackson Yap in December 2004.

   UE Power is now licensed to assemble, manufacture, service and maintain power generation and related products and services in China.

March 2005

3. Two groups of loadtesting system of capacity 10MVA were supplied to the following shipyards in a month.
   
   
   1. at Keppel Fel to loadtest 5 units of 1500KW turbines rated at 600volts. These turbines are of Caterpillars engine installed at jackup rig, Al Hail, for the Abu Dhabi’s National Drilling Company (NDC).
      
      
   2. at Jurong Shipyard for the loadtesting of 4 units 1270KW generators rated at 450volts. These generators were installed at the 2,600 TEU container vessel belongs to Wan Hai Lines. Wan Hai Lines is a leading container operator which runs a fleet of 59 container vessels with a total capacity of 83,000 TEU on 27 trade lines connecting 21 countries around the world.

4. Singapore National Day 2005
   
   This important national event for the design, supply and management of power project for the Singapore National Day is again being awarded to UE POWER. The duration of the supply is for a 3-months period.
   
   A total of 58 units of generators of capacity between 150 KVA and 1250KVA will be supplied for the event which will be held in Padang, covering the areas of City Hall and waterfront embracing the key tourism belt of the Marina Bay.
   
   Singapore celebrates its annual National Day on 9th August.

May 2005

5. The Company material division would like to announce the successful execution of a government award for 580MT of metalforms. These metalforms are supplied to the Housing and Development Board, the largest residential developer in Singapore.
   
   With this contract, the company would become the sole supplier to the Singapore Housing and Development Board for the last 13 years. Total contract executed during the period amounted to US$19.0million.
   
   
6. 6) We are busy in Shanghai!
   
   UE POWER Shanghai is pleased to announce their active participation of power to various manufacturing industries in Central China. Many of its clients are foreign manufacturing concerns which have large capital investment producing quality products for export.
   
   To date, a total power supply to the industries exceeds 24MW. These powers are being delivered in units of 0.8MW to 1.0MW.
   
   Being a new setup, UE POWER Shanghai is technically supported by its Singapore counterpart to ensure quality power and good services are delivered to clients.

7. National University of Singapore
   
   The National University of Singapore will be celebrating its 100th years of establishment on 8h July 2005. A power package of 4MW will be delivered by UE POWER for its centennial celebration held at the University campus.
